On 29th May 1862 he received permission to preside over two class boarding school for boys (afterwards extended to four classes). It's task was to prepare pupils to III class of government gimnasium. The building was situated on ?abia (?eromskiego) street.

Some of Fabiani's students were recruited from the streets, most of them didn't have anything to do and were born in underclass. Because he had big pedagogic skills, many of them were saved. They joined school, learned and became other people. In dormitory strict rules had control. Timetable was wisely drew up. Pupils had to obey it absolutely.
